What We Believe
If you are looking for more than a church to attend but you are searching for an experience that is life-changing, a relationship with Jesus Christ that is fulfilling, and a salvation experience that is Biblical then you have found that for which you have been searching.
The Bible – We believe the Bible is the inspired word of God and the authority for salvation and Christian living (1 Timothy 3:16).
One God – We believe there is only one God (Deuteronomy 6:4). He is the creator of heaven and earth and all living beings. He has revealed Himself to humanity as the Father (Creator), as the Son (Savior), and as the Holy Ghost (indwelling Spirit).
Salvation – We believe everyone has sinned (committed error and wrongdoing against God) and is in need of a savior. Salvation comes by grace through faith, based on the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. When we identify with that sacrifice through the new birth, we begin a beautiful life journey with the Lord that will lead us to heaven’s reward (Romans 3:23, 6:23, John 3:3-5, Acts 2:38, 4:12)
Gospel – We believe the good news of the gospel is that Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and rose again. Likewise, we believe all must repent (death to sin), be baptized by immersion in the name of Jesus Christ (burial), and receive the gift of the Holy Spirit as evident by speaking in other tongues (resurrection) (1 Corinthians 15:1-4; Acts 2:4, 37-39; Romans 6:3-4)
Christian Lifestyle – We believe as Christians we should follow the example of Christ. We strive to be holy because Christ is holy. Every aspect of a Christian’s life should be holy and separate from the sinful world in which we live (Philippians 4:1-8, 2 Corinthians 7:1, Deuteronomy 22:5, 1 Corinthians 3:16-17, Hebrews 12:14)
Miracles – We believe the miracles of the Bible are still happening here today. These supernatural gifts are highly sought for and experienced in our services (1 Corinthians 12:8-10, Mark 16:17-18, Matthew 17:15-21, 1 Corinthians 12:9).
Eternity – We believe Jesus Christ is coming again to catch away His church. The righteous will inherit eternal life and the unrighteous will inherit eternal death (John 3:15, 14:2-3; 2 Corinthians 5:10-11; Hebrews 9:27; Matthew 25:30-41, 46; 1 Corinthians 15: 51-53; 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17; Revelation 20:10-15).
